  • Ally Newsome
    Ally NewsomeDirector of Sales

    Ally Newsome has worked in Sales and Account Management with Discover Publications for over 10 years, and clients find her to be an invaluable resource. Prior to joining the team at Discover, Ally worked in Real Estate for 10+ years and knows the business inside out, having worked as a listing coordinator, closing coordinator, and real estate marketing specialist. Outside of work, Ally and her husband Matt have their hands full with twins! She also has many creative interests, including live music, making jewelry, and painting

  • Catherine Sylvester
    Catherine SylvesterDirector of Operations

    Catherine joined Discover Publications in May of 2015. She manages the day-to-day operations and special projects. After graduating from business school at Ohio State, she began her career as a Business Development Officer for a non-profit lender. She spent several years coaching small business owners and writing business loans for over 120 entrepreneurs. She later accepted a business banking position with one of the nations largest banks, originating commercial loans and helping larger private firms make financial and management decisions. She has a passion for small business, and is delighted to be on the Discover team.. She lives in Worthington with her husband and 4 children, and enjoys cooking and long distance running.

  • Drew Norman
    Drew NormanSenior Web Consultant

    Drew Norman built and maintains our website. His professional experience includes creating and driving the process of web design and development, requirements gathering and analysis, project coordination, quality assurance, and documentation. interface design, information architecture, wordpress theme development, and implementation. He has extensive experience with CMS systems like WordPress and Drupal. Drew was brought onboard in October 2015. He enjoys attending worship service at Vineyard Columbus and long bike rides and spending time with his wife and kids.

    JOHN PECKSenior Graphic Designer

    John has been with Discover Publications since 2009 and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications. John has worked in the marketing industry for over 20 years, and has been with newspapers for most of that time. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling around the country and abroad, but is always happy to return home to Ohio. He’s also a huge music fan and enjoys studying history.

      Shelby NicholsonMarketing Consultant

      Shelby joined Discover Publications in December of 2015. Shelby studied Visual Journalism at Kent State University. She enjoys assisting in her team’s success by managing a variety of marketing tasks from digital content curation, social media, direct marketing campaigns and our Discover Publications blog. In her free time, Shelby helps others reach their lifestyle goals as a certified personal trainer, while achieving her own goals as a national fitness competitor. She also enjoys frequent camping and kayaking trips, and hiking with her rescue dogs – Kona and Nollie.

        Travis LaluzerneArt Director

        Travis LaLuzerne has over 20 years of graphic design experience, and has been designing custom publications with Discover since 2003! He has a BS in Art and Graphic Design from University of Wisconsin. Travis loves helping clients define and achieve their visions for successful direct mail campaigns, and is an endless source of useful information about what works and what doesn’t. In his free time, Travis enjoys spending time with his wife Jen and their teenage daughter, following NFL and NHL teams (especially the Packers and Blue Jackets), playing golf, and getting to the beach whenever humanly possible.
