Travis Laluzerne – Art Director
Travis has been with Discover since 2003, and currently manages product development for Discover’s print media. He holds a Bachelor’s in Art & Graphic Design from University of Wisconsin. Though Travis leads the department, his passion has always been client work. He continues to work one-on-one with real estate agents and entrepreneurs, and loves helping them achieve successful campaigns. In his free time, Travis enjoys family time with his wife and daughter, following the Packers, and golfing.
Catherine Zupan – VP Sales
Catherine oversees Discover’s sales department and manages High Value accounts. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business from the Fisher College of Business. Catherine worked as a Business Banker for nearly a decade, where she helped hundreds of businesses expand. She joined Discover in 2015 to drive innovation and growth. Catherine is married with four children, and enjoys volunteering at church, crime TV, and expanding her giant Lego city.
Jhojan Poma Asto – Digital Marketing Manager
Jhojan manages our Client Digital Marketing, and developed much of Discover’s digital capabilities. He has a Bachelors in Marketing and a post-graduate degree in Communications. He’s an expert on web development, graphics, digital marketing, multimedia production, and even mobile application development. Before joining Discover, Jhojan directed the major multimedia marketing and advertising campaigns for a large manufacturing company and a marketing firm. Jhojan is fluent in multiple languages, and enjoys spending time with family and doing just about anything “tech” related.
Katie Pack – Director of Client Service
Katie manages Discover’s Client Service department, overseeing billing, administration, and mail service. She has a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and underwent extensive finance training. Katie’s vision since her early days as a bookkeeper has been to make Discover as efficient and “user friendly” as possible. Under Katie’s leadership, every aspect of client service has improved dramatically. In her spare time, Katie enjoys hosting “game night,” creating digital art, and spoiling her beloved Chihuahua Coco.
Leo Thomas – Founder
He created Discover Publications (then known as Custom House Publishers) in 1993, to provide real estate agents with turn-key marketing that actually worked. He currently chairs the Board of Directors, providing guidance and assistance to Discover’s new generation of leadership. Leo is a generous philanthropist; he is actively involved in multiple charities, does extensive work with the Catholic Church, and is currently creating an organization to help refugees in crisis. He enjoys spoiling his seven grandchildren, writing, and traveling.
Tony Sylvester – Client Success Manager
Tony manages the Client Success Team, overseeing the client marketing process from end to end. He holds a Masters in Education and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Ohio University. Clients enrolled in complex marketing packages work directly with Tony or another dedicated a Marketing Manager, who coordinates everything from articles to print marketing to social media updates. In his free time, Tony loves spending time with family, reading spy novels, and jamming to The Dave Matthews Band.
John Peck – Senior Graphic Designer
John is Discover’s senior graphic designer, working directly with clients, training new designers, and assisting with product development. He has a Bachelor degree in Visual Communications. John has worked in the marketing industry for over 20 years. His extensive experience has helped countless businesses generate leads, and his insights have been instrumental in improving Discover’s products and services. Outside of work, John enjoys traveling, music, history, and riding roller coasters with his wife.
