Step 1: Set your ad rates.
We'll suggest ad rates based on your circulation and average area home value, but you choose how much you'd like to charge for ads. If you'll be selling ads to RESPA-covered industries, we'll help you comply with the rules.
Step 2: Send us your prospects.
Send us a list of your best industry partners, such as your go-to lender, title agent, insurance rep, painter, or landscaper. We'll present the opportunity, options, and rates.
Step 3: Sit back... we'll do the rest!
Once an advertiser signs on, we'll offer to create an engaging ad for them free of charge. We’ll also bill your advertisers and credit your invoice accordingly. This entire program is completely free; you get 100% of your ad revenue.
Make a compelling value proposition.
Be sure to share your circulation, average home value, and other metrics your advertisers care about. If you plan to include copies in your listing packets, bring copies to open houses, or market with your Digital Editions, point this out. Then, make a compelling offer, such as a free first ad or a discounted trial period.
Incentivize long-term advertising.
Reward repeat advertising with a discounted rate for a certain number of editions or a free full-length feature after so many placements. Your publication includes an inside custom article which can be used for advertiser spotlights, for no extra charge.
Sell in-person if you can.
Our Ad Sales Assistance is convenient, but it's most effective when your prospects have a high probability of conversion. Our clients get the best results presenting the opportunity themselves, face-to-face with prospects.
Wait until you have a sample.
Agents sell more ads when they're able to show prospects a physical sample. This means printing your first edition before selling any ads. This way, potential advertisers can flip through your actual publication and you'll be able to answer questions with better insight.
Ad Sales Assistance is limited to prospects who already know you. Unfortunately, we cannot contact cold leads. But you may attempt to sell ads on your own to anyone you wish.
Ad Billing Service is limited to $200+ ads. You may sell and place as many ads as your layout allows, but our Ad Billing Service is limited to advertisers paying $200 or more.
There is a limit to how many advertisers we can bill. Our Ad Billing Service is limited to up to 5 advertisers per Signature edition, 3 per Fast Track sent to 2,000+ homes, and 2 per Fast Track to <2,000 homes. You may include additional advertisers (layout permitting), but you will need to bill them separately.
